  • The single chief officer of the Youth Council; sets vision and annual goals and chairs council meetings.
  • Oversees all Vice Presidents, each of whom leads a club or program portfolio.
  • Serves as the council’s representative to adult advisors and the Foundation.
  • Makes final decisions on council initiatives and resolves conflicts.

    What this role does
    • Holds the council rank of Vice President and heads the dance & performance program.
    • Leads the Barbie Dance Club — rehearsals, choreography and member training.
    • Books and prepares performances for Foundation events, such as the charity gala and community festivals.
    • Manages performance logistics — music, costumes, staging and run-of-show.

    What this role does
    • Holds the council rank of Vice President and heads the STEM program.
    • Leads robotics and STEM programming — workshops, build sessions and STEM outreach events.
    • Supports FTC Team 21868 activities and connects interested members to the team.
    • Partners with the Event Leader to plan STEM-themed community events.

    What this role does

    • Leads the Harmony of Hearts Young Art Exhibition — theme planning, artist outreach and artwork collection.
    • Coordinates venue setup, exhibition layout and opening reception logistics.
    • Works with the Media VP to promote exhibitions and document the events.

    • Creates and shares content — event photography and video, social media posts (Instagram, WeChat) and flyers.
    • Manages the council’s public image and posting calendar.

    Council fundraising and finances

    What this role does
    • Holds the council rank of Vice President and heads council finances.
    • Leads fundraising — sponsorship outreach, donation drives and fundraiser events.
    • Tracks income and expenses, and builds simple budgets for events and programs.
    • Supports grant applications with data, photos and impact stories.

    • Plans and organizes all council events end to end — timelines, venues and logistics.
    • Builds the run-of-show and assigns on-site roles to volunteers.
    • Coordinates with the Vice Presidents to bring their programs into each event.
